Teaching Experience
In 2023 I have taught for 14 years in Pennsylvania Public Schools. I have taught ELA, Science, and STEM for 11 years in Philadelphia and Chester in middle school grades 5th through 8th. I also taught Computer Classes, Yoga, and Coached Step/Cheer at Drexel Hill Middle School for a couple of years.
Education
I completed a bachelor’s program at West Chester University majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Reading. I finished my graduate degree at Widener University to become an Educational Technology Specialist.
My experience in education gives me the skills to be able to break down information and help others apply this information to create usable skills in health and wellness.
Interests
I love computers, science, and STEM. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and have MANY interests including a healthy lifestyle, travel, family preparation, human design, astrology, religion, and many more!
My teaching and computer background has given me the tools to help summarize and teach information to others. I have performed professional development for my fellow teachers on how to use technology in the classroom and they have praised me for my help in keeping things concise and actually helping them with something tangible!
